French frieze worse than you think
French fries are not well-chosen because of sodium and high fat. They also contain a chemical called acrylamide. Acrylamide was first discovered in 2002 in certain foods and was found to be a worrying cause due to its ability to induce cancer in laboratory animals. This chemical is not seen in raw potatoes. But when cooked at high temperatures it is formed like frying. Researchers have discovered that French prescriptions contain a large amount of acrylamide compared to other foods.
