Luxembourg’s Prime Minister Xavier Bettel had already entered municipal politics when he hosted the “Sunday at 8” show on a national cable TV channel, Der Spiegel reported in 2007. The show invited “both celebrities and ordinary people to share their passions and highlights of their lives,” according to an archived page on the now-defunct TV network.
