In addition to her successful singing career, Pouran appeared in several films and became a respected figure in the country’s entertainment industry. She was known for her elegant stage presence and her ability to connect emotionally with audiences through romantic ballads and classical-inspired songs. Her repertoire included timeless hits that remain popular among Persian music lovers today.
Following the 1979 Revolution, Pouran spent time outside. In 1990, while receiving treatment for serious illness, she returned to Tehran, where she passed away on October 4, 1990. Despite her death, her music continues to inspire new generations of listeners and remains an important part of musical heritage.
