Home to the largest instructional program in ice cream making, Penn State’s program has taught many famous commercial ice cream makers, including Ben and Jerry. The Creamery makes about 100 ice cream flavors, 10 frozen yogurt flavors, and six sherbet flavors. Vanilla, Death by Chocolate, Peachy Paterno (peach ice cream with peach slices, named for football head coach Joe Paterno), LionS’more (vanilla ice cream with graham cracker, chocolate pieces, and marshmallow swirl).
