Renaissance period: long foreheads and eyelashes
Many cosmetics were used in this period, and women painted their faces. One of the strange modes of that time was the height of the foreheads, so that women sometimes shaved their hair to their forehead taller and taller. They also took their eyelashes with tweezers.
