[custom_adv] This park was built in 2010 on the same premise — the theme park also features fully accessible attractions and was designed by Gordon Hartman and his 23-year-old daughter Morgan, who lives with disability. [custom_adv] At both parks, guests who use them have free access to different types of wheelchairs so they don't have to use their own, and guests with disabilities are welcome to the park for free, as well, Mashable reports. [custom_adv] The park also provides traceable wristbands for children with disabilities who tend to wander from their parents. [custom_adv] All the water in the park is able to change temperature quickly to accommodate those with sensitivity to cold and certain areas of the park are dedicated quiet spaces for those who are overwhelmed by crowds. [custom_adv] Just in time for summer, a first-of-its-kind splash park designed from the ground up to accommodate people with various special needs will make its debut. [custom_adv] The park is completely wheelchair accessible. And there are waterproof wheelchairs available for families to rent for free. Children with special needs also get free admission to the park. [custom_adv] There’s even the ability to regulate the temperature of the water for guests who are sensitive to cold. [custom_adv] Hartman named the park after his daughter, Morgan, who also has disabilities. [custom_adv] He created Morgan’s Inspiration Island with the help of doctors, parents, teachers, special needs therapists, and caregivers. [custom_adv] It also provide PneuChairs, air-powered, waterproof wheelchairs that families can rent for free.
