The statue of Christ (110 meters)
The construction of this shrine in Portugal, inspired by the famous statue of Christ in Rio de Janeiro, ended in 1959 after 10 years. The height of this statue is approximately the same size with its famous model in Brazil (28 meters), but on a long 82-meter long structure, with a total elevation of 110 meters. At the bottom of the statue, there is a place where you can watch panoramic views of the city of Lisbon.
