This collection cannot be presented in any official gallery exhibition due to the discrepancy local law and regulations, which is why the photographer decides to publish her work that took several years to finish on Instagram. Maryam says says that sometimes her photos have been treated in such a way as if they were vulgar or provocative photos. The “dormitory” photo collection is the result of several years of “Maryam Nematollahi” photography and the reflection of the photographer’s wanderings in the hidden aspects of the life of the female students living in the dormitory.
