No expense was spared in architecting the most opulent day: flowers were masterminded by Simon Lycett (who worked on Four Weddings and a Funeral) and for the ceremony, Victoria wore a cream, Vera Wang gown with a diamond-and-gold crown, custom-built by Slim Barrett, who had previously designed for Princess Diana. David arrived at the ceremony in a Bentley Azure, wearing a matching cream suit designed by Timothy Everett, before the two both changed into their purple ensembles for the reception.
