Captains of volleyball teams may be expected to do things differently than they would with other players. In order to be successful in this position, you must have a high level of dedication and a strong sense of teamwork. A captain is someone who can provide advice and guidance to the players and staff on a daily basis. A captain’s role is more than just that. To become a good leader, a coach should select a player who is competitive, hard-working, and positive in order to set a good example for his or her team. To be a good leader, a player’s team captain should devote himself completely to the team and the game. It is not acceptable as a captain to take on more responsibilities than one’s responsibilities.
