Yulia Navalnaya’s husband was Alexei Navalny, a prominent figure in Russian politics and a vocal critic of the Russian government. They met in 1998 while on vacation in Turkey and got married in 2000. Alexei Navalny worked as a lawyer and later became known for his anti-corruption activism and opposition activities. Together with Yulia, Alexei had two children: a daughter named Daria, born in 2001, and a son named Zakhar, born in 2008. While he pursued his career and political activism, Yulia primarily focused on managing their household and supporting her husband’s endeavors. She also assisted her in-laws with their business related to basket weaving.
