According to the US National Tourism Office, nearly 67 million Americans chose to take an international trip in 2016. The world may be our oyster, but some countries impose harsh visa requirements that may hinder American tourism.
Cuba
As of November 2017, President Trump announced changes in travel rules for Cuba. You can no longer travel under the People To People category as an individual, and you can’t spend money at military-owned businesses. However traveling independently under Support For The Cuban People is still allowed.
