Qeshm Island is located a few kilometers off the southern coast of Iran, opposite the port cities of Bandar Abbas. Following photos are from the annual Norouz Sayyad Festival held in the village. Norouz in Persian means new day, and typically refers to the Persian New Year festival. Sayyad means fisherman.
