The game was played in San Diego and Iran won 3 sets to 2. Amir Ghafour had 26 points in the 24-26, 26-24, 25-27, 25-20, 15-9 victory. US had won the previous two friendlies 3 sets to 1 and 3 sets to 0. The last game will be played tomorrow Saturday August 16th in UC Irvine. The teams are using the exhibition series to prepare for the FIVB World Championships which start later this month in Poland.
