Fruit snacks are not better than candy
Fruit snacks are advertised as a source of vitamins. Many of their packaging are made with real fruit and contain vitamin C needed daily. But it does not mean that they are comparable to strawberries or real bananas. For food, snack snacks are more like candy. Fruit-free snacks are fiber-free, an important ingredient in fresh fruits. If you eat two snack foods, you’ll get the same amount of sugar and calories you eat when you eat a candy pack.
