Egyptian designer Mohamed Nour, kicks off the new year with a powerful message with the launch of his collection ‘Hurra’ meaning ‘Free’ in solidarity with Palestine. Condemning the atrocities committed by the Israeli occupation against innocent civilians of Gaza and sending a message of support to the people of Gaza, Mohamed Nour leveraged the use of technology to present a collection, as envisioned by him and refined with his human talent so that the world never forgets the ongoing escalations from the Israeli side against Gazans. The collection, as imagined, was inspired by the Palestinian shawl, ‘keffiyeh’, a longstanding symbol of Palestinian patriotism, culture, and heritage demonstrated in 42 pieces that bring together a blend of utter elegance and modernism.
