NUFDI was honored our 2024 Humanitarian Award to #FatemehSepehri. Sepehri, now in the regime’s jails, is one of Iran’s bravest dissidents. If you don’t, you should learn her name and her story. Her brother, Dr. Asghar Sepehri, received the award on her behalf. NUFDI is a non-profit, non-partisan organization made up of Americans of diverse backgrounds who closely follow events in their mother country. Those events are defined by the people’s ongoing struggle to reclaim from the Islamic Republic and establish freedom, human rights, and democracy. The people’s movement seeks to reestablish peaceful, friendly relations with neighbors and to have re-engage the community of nations in a manner befitting its rich culture and heritage as a great civilization.
