Alex Crisara and Jahan Rabii from Anderson High School have been selected to participate in the Hong Kong International Science Fair! They were among our Science Festival finalists who advanced to the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in Los Angeles. Their project was to engineer a system that uses algae to filter air, generate oxygen and potentially provide food for astronauts on long space flights. Congratulations, Alex and Jahan! Jahan Rabii, (Alexander Amir-Jahan Rabii) is an American inventor, and Internationally recognized researcher. His most notable achievement has been placing 1st at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair, (ISEF), for his research in the field of Algae based Life-support for use on the International Space Station.
