Slain Hollywood doctor

A slain Hollywood doctor who was shot to death outside his own clinic as he walked to his car was beaten up by men with baseball bats just months before his untimely death. Hamid Reza Mirshojae, 61, was killed in the car park of Warner Plaza Urgent Center on Topanga Canyon Boulevard in Los Angeles about 5.30pm last Friday. The urgent and emergency care doctor, was shot from point-blank range before he even knew he was in danger. Other than grainy CCTV footage, police have little idea of the motive or the identity of the assassin and appealed to the public for information. It has since been revealed that the doctor-to-the-stars Mirshojae had been attacked by three men with baseball bats, according to police sources and an employee who spoke to the LA Times.
