The 70-year-old Braveheart actor was seen embracing model Antonella Salvucci, who at 44 is almost three decades his junior, in Rome this week. Sporting a white shirt with a pair of jeans and a baseball cap, Mel looked casual as he joined glamorous Antonella, who wore a form-fitting leather catsuit. The pair are thought to have enjoyed a dinner date at upmarket seafood restaurant Micalusi Real Fish before enjoying a drive and stroll around the city’s landmarks.
In the pictures, Mel is seen wrapping his arms around his date as they shared multiple smooches. Antonella boasts 105,000 followers on Instagram and describes herself as an actress and model. The union comes just five months on from his split from girlfriend Rosalind Ross, 35. In December, the couple of nine years announced they were parting ways with a statement which read: “Although it’s sad to end this chapter in our lives, we are blessed with a beautiful son and will continue to be the best parents possible.”
