Singapore is a wealthy country by any standard – in fact, half of its population is among the world’s richest 10% according to the Credit Suisse report. It has a median wealth of $96,967 and a GDP per capita of $79,123. The report also stated that Singapore’s inequality was “not extreme compared with other countries.”
