The Master of Theater and Cinema

Though Nasirian’s roots are deeply embedded in theater, his transition to cinema and television further cemented his reputation as one of greatest artists. His film debut in 1969 with The Cow (Gav), directed by Dariush Mehrjui, marked the beginning of a celebrated career in cinema. This film is regarded as a cornerstone of  New Wave cinema and remains a milestone in the history of Persian-language films.
