Tuka was born into an atmosphere rich with creativity, philosophy, and theatrical excellence. Her mother, Sousan Taslimi, is a legendary actress who starred in some of most acclaimed films of the 1980s, including Bashu, the Little Stranger and The Stranger and the Fog. After moving to Sweden in the late 1980s, Taslimi continued her career in theater and television, even becoming a household name in Swedish media and breaking new ground for women and immigrants in European performing arts.
