Seeking to further refine her artistry, she attended advanced vocal classes conducted by the legendary master Gholam-Hossein Banan in the early 1960s. These sessions, occasionally organized and supervised by Nosratollah Ebrahimi, provided invaluable opportunities for artistic growth and helped shape her distinctive vocal style. In 1961, Mahmoud Karimi introduced her to the General Department of Fine Arts, marking the beginning of her professional career.
She subsequently joined the Ministry of Culture and Arts of Iran as an official vocalist, a position she held until 1978. During this period, she participated in numerous musical programs, concerts, radio productions, and cultural events dedicated to preserving and promoting the heritage of Persian classical music. Throughout her career, Afsaaneh Malek remained committed to the authentic traditions of vocal performance while contributing to the transmission of this invaluable cultural legacy to future generations.
