Anooshiravan Rohani is a renowned composer, pianist, and music producer, widely celebrated for his influential role in shaping modern Persian popular music. Born on May 28, 1939, in Rasht, Rohani showed exceptional musical talent from an early age. He began studying music as a child and later continued his formal education at the Tehran Conservatory of Music, where he trained in classical piano and composition. Rohani is best known for his ability to blend Western classical techniques with traditional Persian melodies, creating a distinctive and emotionally rich musical style.

His compositions often feature lyrical piano lines, sophisticated orchestration, and memorable themes that resonate deeply with listeners. Over several decades, he has composed hundreds of works, including instrumental pieces, film scores, and popular songs performed by some of most famous singers. Among his most iconic works are instrumental pieces such as “Soltan-e Ghalbha” (King of Hearts) and “Gol-e Sang” (Stone Flower), which have become timeless classics in music. His film and television soundtracks also played a major role in popularizing orchestral and piano-based music in during the 1960s and 1970s.
