Recognizing his potential, Rohani pursued formal musical education and later enrolled at the Tehran Conservatory of Music. In his early adulthood, Rohani entered the professional music scene in during the 1950s and 1960s, a period of rapid cultural change. He soon gained recognition as a gifted composer and pianist, working extensively with radio, cinema, and television. His ability to compose emotionally powerful melodies and sophisticated arrangements quickly set him apart. By his late twenties and thirties, he had become one of the most sought-after composers in the country.
