About football Federation

FIFA’s seven standing committees report to the FIFA Council, advising and assisting the Council in their respective fields of function. The composition and structure, including qualification and number of members fulfilling independence criteria as well as the specific duties and powers of the individual committees, shall be stipulated in the FIFA Governance Regulations. For more information on the standing committees, please see the pages below or articles 39-46 of the FIFA Statutes. The Appeal, Disciplinary and Ethics Committees are FIFA’s judicial bodies and are three of FIFA’s four independent committees.
