Bita Farrahi graduated in art from John Powers School of Art in the United States in 1980. She was introduced to Mehrjoui by Nasser Cheshm Azar to play in Hamoon, and she quickly became his favorite to play the role of Mahshid. This is how he started his career in 1989 with his role in the movie Hamoon directed by Dariush Mehrjoui and in the following years she continued his work with great directors such as Ahmad Reza Darvish, Bahman Farmanara, Masoud Kimiaei and Rakhshan Bani Etemad. Farhi and Khosrow Shakibaei formed one of the most famous artistic couples of the 70s.
