In 1854, Napoleon III (1852 – 1870) opened the first French diplomatic mission in our country. Established as part of the conclusion of a trade agreement, it was placed under the responsibility of the French Ambassador, Prosper Bourée. On March 24, 1891, the Shah of Persia, Nasser ol-Din Shah (1848 – 1896) granted by firman to France, building land and by this gesture recognized the French presence in the country.
