Ambassadors Residence in the Capital

The bricks, designed in Persia, were transported to the site by wagons and by muleteers. The metal plates, intended for the roof, came from Baku, during the year 1895. The structural work was partly completed at the end of 1894, and the Ambassador envisages the creation of the garden and the interior design for the coming months. However, it will not take less than thirty-two months to complete this operation: André de Balloy announces the end of the work in 1896 on the occasion of the Christmas holidays.
