Azadeh Shafiq’s son

King filed a crossclaim Tuesday against her ex-husband, who was identified in LDR’s suit as Kamran Pahlavi, and who allegedly fled to Morocco in November as the fraud began to unravel and has since provided LDR with evidence that King was “engaged in a massive fraud.” Pahlavi claims to have evidence (texts, emails) supporting his side—that funds were in order, contracts properly executed, etc.

Sara King alleges that Pahlavi persuaded her to gamble large sums (for example, on slot machines) to try to “win big” to cover debts or loans. She says he directed some of the financial decisions. Pahlavi counters that she misused or misappropriated money, was addicted to gambling, and that many of her allegations are false or exaggerated. Some filings from King accuse Pahlavi of using the names “Abbas-Vahid” and making large purchases (such as a Tesla car) with funds from a business entity (“KFL”) allegedly under mismanagement.
