LORO PARQUE – SPAIN
The name translates to ‘parrot park’, as it was originally conceived as a conservation area for parrots, however the park grew to include a diverse range of species which include orcas, sharks and dolphins. But, the birds remain a key feature of the zoo, with over 4,000 brightly coloured parrots representing 350 species.
