Furthermore, Dr Shaheem’s reach and impact extend across multiple continents through different dimensions. For close to seven years, she was a co-host on a talk radio show called ‘Voices of Diversity’ and had a monthly column in the largest circulating newspaper in the Gulf region, called ‘Psyched Sundays.’ She has published a number of books and articles, is a senior research fellow and regular keynote presenter at conferences & Tedx speaker.
She was also the founder of the first anti bullying campaign in the UAE, ‘Bolt Down on Bullying’ and the founder and director of Balanced Leadership Circle, an association that aims to confront and prevent gender inequality. Through her social media platforms, she has touched the hearts and minds of many people worldwide. On International Women’s Day in 2018, Dr Shaheem was recognized by the Mayor of London for her extraordinary contribution to the UK.
