Naftali Bennett is an Israeli politician, entrepreneur, and former Prime Minister of Israel. He served as the country’s 13th Prime Minister from June 2021 to July 2022, leading a broad coalition government composed of parties from across the political spectrum. Naftali Bennett was born on March 25, 1972, in Haifa. His parents were American Jewish immigrants who moved to Israel from the United States. After completing high school, Bennett served in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), including in elite special forces units.
He later studied law at Hebrew University of Jerusalem and earned a law degree. Before entering politics, Bennett built a successful career in the technology sector. In 1999, he co-founded the cybersecurity company Cyota, which specialized in fraud prevention and online banking security. The company was acquired in 2005, making Bennett a successful entrepreneur. He later served as CEO of Soluto, another technology company that achieved significant commercial success.
