A filmmaker is responsible for showcasing an actor’s or actress’s part and providing the different perspectives, angles, and vision that sets a movie or video apart from the rest. They give directions to the characters to show them in the best light and stay on topic and narrative throughout the filming process. Filmmakers also oversee everything from the lighting to the cameraperson’s shots. Filmmakers are responsible for overseeing every aspect of video production, which makes their role greater than really anyone’s. They are responsible for hiring, finding, reeling in and showcasing the cast and crew in a cohesive way to produce the best movie or video possible.
