Huma Abedin in Met Gala

Huma Abedin is no stranger to theMet Gala carpet. She’s been a consistent attendee over the years, and for the “Fashion Is Art” event this evening, she arrived in an ivory Prabal Gurung gown from his Fall/Winter 2026 collection. The collection, the designer shared, was inspired by his home of Nepal. Over the weekend, Abedin was spotted arriving at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez Bezos’s pre-Met Gala party at their NoMad apartment.

For that event, she wrote on Instagram, she “found some vintage treasures while shopping with my mother-in-law in her closet for first weekend in May!” She wore Briony Raymond art deco earrings with the dress. Abedin, chief of staff to former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, married Alexander Soros, George Soros’s son, last summer in the Hamptons. “It was an unexpectedly wonderful journey,” she said. “We got engaged with no plans to have a wedding.
