Raised in a family that valued culture and tradition, Leila was drawn to the performing arts from a young age. Her dream was to study at the Broadcasting and Television Academy, a path that many aspiring actors hoped to follow. However, when she applied, the academy was at full capacity. Rather than give up, Leila took a detour—one that would end up enriching her creative identity. She was referred to the Kar and Danesh Academy, where the only available department was in carpet weaving. Embracing the opportunity, she enrolled in the art section, specifically in carpet design.
