Amirashraf Arianpour Kashani was born on July 1, 1317. He was a graduate of the National Music Conservatory and one of Saba’s distinguished students. In continuation of his university education, he obtained his doctorate degree in Persian literature, journalism, and administrative sciences from the University of Tehran, and in 1352, he obtained a specialised doctorate in the field of musicology from the University of Goethe in Austria. After that, he studied art history at the University of Frankfurt.
