The Perth suburbs of Cottesloe and Peppermint Grove took out the top spot. Data from the ATO found that residents in the 6011 postcode had an average taxable income of $325,343. For others, it has drawn criticism and backlash, with followers pointing out how their lifestyle feels disconnected from the everyday struggles of average Australians.
