When youth are from wealthy families, there may be a pressure placed on them by family and society that they must get into a prestigious school, handle a lot of extracurricular activities, as well as, maintain a great social life. All of this pressure can cause them to “act out,” and sometimes these instances that don’t seem to make sense (like a rich child stealing something) has little to do with money, and everything to do with a cry for help.
