With the conclusion of the campaign, the Board in due course will be making arrangements to produce a new documentary highlighting the humanitarian achievements of His Highness the late Amir of Bahrain. The documentary will be part of the agenda for the 3rd Isa Awards ceremony which is scheduled to take place in mid-2017, under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain, in the presence of Arab and international representatives from around the world.
Commenting on the announcement, Ali Abdullah Khalifa, the award’s secretary general, said: “We have concluded this nostalgic campaign on a high note. As part of the campaign we approached government entities, photography clubs and associations, leading businesses and the general public to share from their personal collections images, videos or testimonies about the life and times with the late Amir and are pleased with such a remarkable response.
