Composers write and arrange music using standard musical notations musicians can understand. When writing for multiple instruments or vocal ranges, the notations they use have to correspond with the specializations of instruments or vocalists they’re writing for. This means one piece of music may contain multiple sets of instructions for each of the musicians’ or sections’ specific components.
