Fashion models may travel overseas or work with international photographers, models and designers. Culturally aware and sensitive models act appropriately and respectfully when they travel and meet people of different backgrounds. They find networking and building strong connections with professionals outside their country easier. Formal qualifications are optional for fashion models. While they can prepare you for life after modelling, they have little impact on your modelling employment prospects.
