Gateway Arch in St. Louis, Missouri
You have seen this famous city hallmark in the photos, but you must personally visit it. St. Louis’s stainless steel arch is 161 meters high and the world’s tallest vault. The building was originally designed by the Finnish American architect Eero Saarinen in 1947 and was completed in 1965 and opened to the public in 1967. There are three ways to climb this arc: emergency stairs, 113 meter elevator and tram.
