St. Cuthbert Gospel
This pocket version of the Gospel is one of the earliest examples of Western bookbinding. It was created in the eighth century and has been in the coffin of St. Catherine for years. The dimensions of this book are 14 by 9 centimeters. The British Library has bought it 10.7 million dollars.
