Beyzaie also served as head of the Theater Arts Department at the University of Tehran, where he influenced a generation of students and helped institutionalize dramatic arts education. Beyond storytelling, Beyzaie was a prolific writer and researcher. Beyzaie’s death in December 2025—on his 87th birthday—was widely mourned and among global cultural communities. Officials and artists praised his contributions to storytelling, cultural preservation, and artistic freedom. His work—both on stage and on screen—remains a landmark in arts, continuing to influence writers, directors, scholars, and audiences who explore the intersections of history, myth, and identity.
