The Genoa Aquarium, built for the 1992 World Expo, is one of the largest aquariums on the continent of Europe. The 70-tang aquarium reproduces aquatic and earthy creatures from around the world, providing a home for more than 6,000 animals. Some troughs reproduce natural environments from different regions, such as the Mediterranean, the Red Sea and the Indian Ocean.
