From the start of this season one of the spectacles of Scottish football has been the mass shining of mobile phone torches in the 67th minute of each game at Celtic Park and the same devices mean that virtually everybody in a room with the remaining Lions has the means and desire to take photos or videos. But past victory and present loss are now co-mingled. Gone are goalkeeper Ronnie Simpson, who died in 2004, Bobby Murdoch (2001), Jimmy Johnstone (2006) and Tommy Gemmell, who passed away on March 2. Stevie Chalmers, scorer of the winning goal in Lisbon, has been too frail to attend events.
