She started working in the theater in 1308 with Arshin Malalan. He also started working in cinema in 1314 with Shirin and Farhad (in India, directed by Abdolhossein Spanta). Iran Daftari died on December 23, 1995. Her body is buried in the Behesht Zahra artists’ section.
