Birds of America
In the years 1827 to 1838, John James Audubon published a collection of Luxury books that portrays hundreds of North American bird species. A total of 435 illustrations are the first version of the American Birds, only 119 of which remain. The other thing that makes this book worthwhile is that the six species of birds that are shown are now extinct.
